All -
As Joseph mentioned, we will spend tonight's class as a working session in a push to complete the FSK lab, which will be the last assignment. We typically assign one more lab, adaptive filtering, but time is running out. Based on our informal surveys of time that you are all spending on the assignments, I think that this will be best.
We will still meet downstairs for a short period of time, because class evaluations will be distributed today. I'd appreciate it if everyone thought a bit about the below questions in addition to the standard ones. With our very small sample size, each person's feedback is valuable!
1) which labs did you learn the most from?
2) which did you learn the least from?
3) was the level of work reasonable for a laboratory class like this? (we tried to tail it off a bit at the end based on how long it seemed everybody was spending, so comment on the whole class)
Anyway, if you aren't able to make it to laboratory tonight, please still provide us with the answer to these questions ok?
Thanks
Doug
To jog your memory when evaluating - the labs were :
1) Intro
2) DDS
3) FIR Filtering (straight C)
4) FIR filtering (optimized C and DSPLIB assembly)
5) Assembly Language programming (maxval)
6) FFT I (STFT using QDMA)
7) FFT II (using EDMA for real-time processing)
8) IIR Filtering (tone detectors)
9) FSK (Matlab Simulation)
10) FSK (DSP implementation)
