[Dspforum] Class Schedule

All,

I had a cold this weekend, and have now lost my voice.  We had planned to
talk a bit about adaptive filters this week, and introduce some of the
examples in the book.  Next week was to be a project working session where
you could work on the FSK lab.  Since I can't really speak (or at least not
for long periods of time), we'll push the adaptive filters back by at least
a week.  Tomorrow will be a project working session in the lab, and I will
definitely be there to help.

Aside from my voice, I'm feeling much better so I shouldn't be a risk to
anyone. Still, if you would prefer to not show in person, and have me
demonstrate your IIR lab thats fine too -- just make sure to submit a ".out"
file along with your zipfile so I can load/run it.

Schedule:
Nov 11 - FSK project working session / IIR demonstrations
Nov 18th -- Topic 1 / FSK Matlab Due
Nov 25th -- Holiday
Dec 2 -- Topic 2 / FSK Demod Due
Dec 9 -- FSK Characterization due

The "Topic 1" and "Topic 2" have traditionally been Power efficiency in
DSPs, and Adaptive Filtering.  We don't assign labs for either of these
topics, so they are subject to change.  If there are topics that you are
really interested in that we have missed, don't hesitate to suggest them to
me --- this is a small class, so we might be able to entertain them.
